Lorraine Martin- 63 year resident of Freeport N.Y. and lifelong parishioner of Our Holy Redeemer Parish entered eternal rest on April 7th, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving Mother of William, Christopher, Wendy, Alicia, Suzzanne, Timothy Michael, Timothy Edward and Danielle. Cherished Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Lorraine was a loving person who gave to everyone in need. She was the proud owner of Duryea's Flower Shop and Freeport Flowers for over 30 years as a gifted floral designer. Along with giving to her community and taking care of her family she also found the time to teach religious education at Our Holy Redeemer and was a dedicated boy scout and girl scout troop leader. Lorraine had a special way about her and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her. A visitation for family & friends will be held at Hungerford & Clark Funeral Home 110 Pine St. Freeport N.Y. 11520 on Monday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Our Holy Redeemer R.C Church at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
